横堀中屋敷遺跡出土土器

　この縄文土器は、2021年に秋田県湯沢市の横堀中屋敷遺跡（よこぼりなかやしきいせき）から出土したものです。推定製作年代は、今から約4,000年前（縄文時代後期）です。
　この土器は、方形に区画された範囲の中に沈線（ちんせん）によるＳ字状の文様が施された特徴的な土器です。類似資料は、北秋田市伊勢堂岱遺跡（いせどうたいいせき）などで見つかっており、県北との交流を示す貴重な資料です。

This Jomon pottery was excavated from the Yokobori Nakayashiki site in Yuzawa, Akita Prefecture in 2021. It is estimated to be from the late Jomon period, about 4,000 years ago.

The distinctive feature of this pottery is the S-shaped pattern created with sinking line pattern in a square range. Similar artifacts have been found at the Isedodai site in Kita-Akita City and other sites, providing valuable evidence of exchange between northern Akita Prefecture and other regions.
