土版 Clay Tablet

　土版（どばん）は、主に縄文時代後期から晩期（ばんき）に作られた遺物（いぶつ）です。東北地方を中心として、関東地方や中部地方など、東日本から多く出土しています。この土版は、環状列石で行われた儀式（ぎしき）に使われたと考えられています。
　よく見ると、表には1から5まで、裏には6の数字を表していると思われるくぼみがあります。また、口の穴と底の穴がつながっていることから、人体の構造（こうぞう）を模（も）しているのではないかという説もあります。

Clay tablets are artifacts created mainly during the Late Jomon to the Final Jomon. They are mostly excavated in Eastern Japan, mainly in the Tohoku region, but also in the Kanto and Chubu regions.This clay tablet is thought to have been used for rites performed at the Stone Circle.

If you look closely, you will see indentations that seem to represent numbers from 1 to 5 on the front and 6 on the back. Others believe that it may mimic the structure of the human body, since the mouth hole is connected to the hole at the bottom.
